1. Primavera Sound at Parc del Forum

What’s On: Barcelona’s biggest music festival is back, with headliners like The Cure, Gorillaz, The xx, Doja Cat, Massive Attack, Skrillex, Bad Gyal and PinkPantheress performing across multiple stages.

Tickets are sold out, but there are some available on the platform Twickets (who resell tickets at face value), and there are tickets for the closing party on Sunday.

2. Corpus Christi – Dancing Eggs, Giants & Flower Carpets

What’s On: Corpus Christi is one of Barcelona’s oldest festivals, filling the city with dancing eggs on fountains (L’Ou com Balla). You can also expect colourful flower carpets, and giant puppet parades.

3. Festa Major de Sant Gervasi

What’s On: Sant Gervasi’s annual neighbourhood festival with giants, castellers, fireworks, outdoor concerts & DJs around Plaça de la Bonanova & surrounding streets.

Highlights include a giant parade through the neighbourhood, a fireworks show, live music from Orchestra Internacional Maravella and a popular paella on the final Sunday.

4. Fiesta del Cine – Movie Tickets for Just €3.50

What’s On: Over 35 cinemas across Barcelona are taking part in Fiesta del cine, just turn up or book online and enjoy a proper cinema experience for the price of a coffee.

5. Pope Leo XIV Visits Barcelona

What’s On: Pope Leo XIV will visit Barcelona and Montserrat for a series of major public events, including a mass at the Sagrada Família where he’ll officially inaugurate the new Tower of Jesus Christ, marking 100 years since the death of Antoni Gaudí.

The visit will also include a prayer vigil at the Olympic Stadium, a visit to Montserrat Abbey, and a Popemobile route through central Barcelona expected to attract huge crowds (expect road too).

6. Formula 1 Fan Village in Plaça de Catalunya

What’s On: Formula 1 is rolling into town, and you don’t need a trackside ticket to get in on the action. Plaça de Catalunya transforms into the F1 Barcelona Fan Village, with car displays, racing simulators, pit stop challenges, kids’ zones, food, and live music.

It’s free entry, but you’ll need to apply for tickets.

7. Meat & Fire Festival

What’s On: Over 30 world class grillers fire up the barbecues for a weekend of flame grilled goodness, live music, cooking shows, and more. Think ribs, roasts, fire, and good vibes by the sea.

8. Meet New People at What’s On BCN’s Dinner Club

What’s On: Meeting new people in Barcelona can be difficult. We’re running another Dinner Club to help bring together people who are actually likely to get along.

You’ll take a short personality quiz, then we’ll match you with 5 compatible people for dinner at a surprise restaurant in Barcelona.

Open to everyone from all ages & backgrounds, you can even bring a plus one.

9. Sant Joan – Fireworks, Bonfires & Beach Parties

What’s On: Barcelona’s biggest night of the year is this Tuesday 23rd June, celebrating the summer solstice and the shortest night of the year.

Expect fireworks, bonfires, cava, music, and packed beaches as the city lights up for Sant Joan. Barceloneta, Bogatell and Mar Bella will be buzzing all night – grab a blanket, some drinks, and head down early if you want a good spot.

📍 Where: Beaches & neighbourhoods across the city

10. Barcelona’s Tour de France Festival

What’s On: Barcelona is hosting a huge city wide celebration ahead of the 2026 Tour de France Grand Départ, with concerts, street theatre, giants, cycling events, markets and family activities taking place across the city.

📅 When: Fri 26th June until Sun 5th July
📍 Where: Across Barcelona
